So, the past two days I've tried to make poached eggs, for the first time in my Life! I hadn't made it nor eaten it before this point! And let me tell you it tastes so good! :D
I must say though, that it is quite hard! ..at least to me it is.. The first time I made it it did not look exactly as it was supposed to, for it didn't come together. Then again I did make it in boiling water -_-' [mistake number one] and I also didn't use vinegar [I don't think I would like the taste of it in my egg >..<]. And the egg was a bit more cooked than I wanted it to be, but the yolk was still soft, although not as much as I wanted it to be. The second time I made it, however, was better! :D It stayed together a little bit more! It only separated a little, not a lot. This time I used water that was NOT boiling, but just before simmering. I cooked it for 5 minutes. This time the egg yolk was a bit more like I wanted it to come out, a bit more softer :p yum! I enjoyed it!!! I'm going to try egg-poaching again. And who knows, maybe I will try to poach other foods later as well! I did not take pictures of my poached eggs.. or of the process of poaching the egg. So, I am using a photo I found on the internet.
